Magneti Marelli Parts & Services at EQUIP AUTO 2025: innovation and strategic vision

Magneti Marelli Parts & Services stand at Equip Auto 2025

From October 14th to 18th, Magneti Marelli Parts & Services exhibited at EQUIP AUTO 2025, one of the most strategic events for the aftermarket and mobility service sectors. Every year, the event attracts over 80,000 professionals from more than 56 countries, including manufacturers, distributors, workshops, and supply chain operators. It represents an essential platform for showcasing cutting-edge technical solutions, for international networking, and for debating on future post-sales dynamics.

This year, the exhibition celebrated its 50th anniversary, marking half a century of innovation, meetings, and progress. Within this highly innovative setting, Magneti Marelli Parts & Services showcased its sporting and technological DNA through an exhibition space designed to combine emotion, performance, and strategic vision.

At Pavilion 1 – Stand F073, the company welcomed visitors and partners into a 100 sqmt space, distinguished by the iconic blue and yellow colors — a symbol of an manufacturing history built on performance, quality, and reliability.

Lighting and Spare Parts: Immersive and Digital Exhibits

The Magneti Marelli Parts & Services exhibition area offered visitors an immersive experience: a journey through lighting design and technology, alongside digital interaction in the spare parts section.

Marelli’s Lighting business, a global leader in lighting systems, showcased its expertise with a comprehensive range of original-quality headlamps and taillights, ensuring luminous efficiency, reliability, and aesthetic integration. Among the standout components was the rear taillight of the Audi e-tron, which received the prestigious PACE Award 2025 for its 2.0 digital OLED technology, also used in the Audi Q6 e-tron. In the core spare parts area, the company presented its representative products, including batteries, filtration systems, injectors, throttle bodies, brake discs and pads, and shock absorbers. State-of-the-art interactive screens allowed visitors to digitally explore and understand the technical features and applications of the solutions offered, in an intuitive and immediate way.

Motorsport: Marelli’s Technological Innovation in Racing Competitions

The booth also featured an area dedicated to Motorsport, celebrating Marelli’s sporting heritage with cutting-edge technologies derived from Formula 1, MotoGP, and WEC. Highlighted components included:

  • The BAZ 340 standard ECU, developed with over 20 years of experience in motorcycle applications, sets a new standard among high-performance ECUs. Introduced in the MotoGP 2023, it optimizes motorcycle performance by adapting engine parameters in real-time through customizable software.
  • The Smart Antenna (SA) establishes a high-capacity, low-latency bidirectional radio connection (transmitting large amounts of data with minimal delay). The data are sent to a distributed system of access points around the circuit. The smart antenna acts as a radio link for communication between car and infrastructure, managing data and audio and featuring a multi-constellation GNSS antenna for geolocation. It processes data from three different geolocation systems: GPS, Galileo, and GLONASS.
  • The Formula 1 fuel pump integrates a brushless motor controller with high-efficiency GaN transistors, minimizing energy loss as heat. Compared to brushed models, the brushless motor offers greater operational durability, even with aggressive fuel components. An advanced DSP motion controller enables precise speed control, dynamically adapting pump flow to fuel demand and thus improving overall efficiency. The high computational power also allows the management of lightweight, high-speed motors.

Demonstrating the effectiveness of these solutions, a Ducati Desmosedici GP 2025 was on display at the stand and showed how Marelli’s racing expertise translates into the transfer of know-how and skills to the company’s aftermarket business, helping expand the value and quality of its product range.
