Nicolò Bulega delivered an outstanding season, finishing runner-up in the 2025 Superbike World Championship with 14 race wins, 32 podiums, and only a 13-point gap to World Champion Toprak Razgatlioglu. Competing with the Aruba.it Racing Ducati team as a Magneti Marelli Checkstar brand ambassador, Bulega represented the brand’s colors on every world circuit—embodying the same values that define the workshop network: performance, technical precision, and reliability.

— A battle at the top: where technical excellence makes the difference

The 2025 season was marked by an intense head-to-head duel—Bulega and Razgatlioglu dominated the championship, pulling away from the rest of the field. Third-placed Alvaro Bautista, Bulega’s teammate, finished 279 points adrift from the champion, highlighting the technical and competitive superiority of the leading duo.

Riding the Ducati Panigale V4R, Bulega maximised the full potential of the official factory machine: 998 cc of power, cutting-edge racing electronics, and aerodynamics perfected in the wind tunnel. Just as in Magneti Marelli Checkstar workshops, where advanced diagnostics and technical expertise make the difference-, on the track, the ability to analyze data, refine set-ups, and intervene with precision proved decisive.

— 32 podiums, 14 wins: the numbers of an extraordinary season

Across the 12 championship rounds (each featuring a Superpole Race, Race 1, and Race 2), Bulega achieved:

¬ 14 victories: Phillip Island (clean sweep of 3 races), Assen, Cremona (clean sweep of 3 races), Most, Aragon (2 races), Estoril, Jerez de la Frontera (clean sweep of 3 races),

¬ 18 second places: at historic venues including Imola, Donington, Magny-Cours, Portimão, and Balaton Park.

On three occasions (Australia, Cremona, and Jerez), he dominated the entire race weekend, winning all three races—a feat requiring not only speed, but also consistent performance and optimal management of bike setup, tires, and strategy.

— Partnership on the track: from circuit to workshop

The collaboration between Nicolò Bulega and Magneti Marelli Checkstar went far beyond helmet branding. Throughout the season, the partnership delivered:

¬ Exclusive meet-and-greet sessions in Ducati garages during race weekends, allowing clients and partners to experience paddock life firsthand,

¬ Original content filmed within Magneti Marelli Checkstar workshops: videos and sketches that inspired engaging digital initiatives, bridging the world of professional racing with the everyday reality of the network,

¬ An integrated approach that amplified shared DNA: both on track and in the aftermarket, it’s technical expertise, attention to detail, and advanced technology that set you apart.

— Stepping Up to MotoGP: Talent Recognized at the Highest Level

Bulega’s Superbike achievements led to a remarkable opportunity: he was called up by the Lenovo Ducati MotoGP team to replace the injured Marc Marquez in the last two rounds of the MotoGP season, at Portimão and Valencia. Following successful tests at Jerez, Bulega took the controls of the Desmosedici GP25, the team’s latest MotoGP prototype, handling his premier-class debut with maturity and gaining valuable experience.

This is a major achievement for the Italian rider, confirming how technical excellence is always recognized and rewarded.

— Our pride, our future

Magneti Marelli Checkstar takes great pride in Nicolò Bulega’s accomplishments: his season demonstrates how performance, reliability, and innovation—the core pillars of our network—lead to extraordinary results.

Every victory on the circuit is also a triumph for those who, in our workshops, apply the same philosophy every day: precise diagnostics, expert intervention, and guaranteed results. Whether it’s a Grand Prix Superbike or a customer’s car in the workshop, technical excellence is always unmistakable.

Thank you, Nicolò—and best of luck for your next challenges!
