Magneti Marelli Checkstar is Official Partner of the WES World e-Bike Series

The excitement and effort that characterises enduro, cross-country and mountain bike competitions, together with latest-generation innovations in technology have led to the creation of the World e-Bike Series (WES), a cycling championship associated with the UCI (Union Cycliste Internationale) and taking place on e-bikes (electrically assisted bikes).

The essence of this new championship, which is based on values such as sportspersonship, teamwork, commitment and passion for technological innovation, has led the Magneti Marelli Checkstar network to sign a partnership with WES for the 2021 season, which will take place in Europe

Why? Because these are the same values in which the Magneti Marelli Checkstar network believes strongly, and by which it is characterised! Our network operates as a team, with great sporting spirit, taking on the market - even in the most challenging of times - with commitment and the aid of the latest and most sophisticated tools: being part of the Magneti Marelli Checkstar team allows vehicle mechanics to receive solid support and services that integrate with their working activities.

The championship and sponsorship

Magneti Marelli Checkstar sees this collaboration as an opportunity to increase visibility for the network on a European level, also among cycling enthusiasts. The brand will be present alongside the racetrack and an entire team will wear our colours and display the Magneti Marelli Checkstar - Hybrid & Electric concept in the upcoming stages of the 2021 Championship:

-       Bologna (5-6 June)
-       Charade - France (17-18 July)
-       Piedmont (18-19 September)
-       Costa Brava - Spain (24-25 September)
-       Barcelona - Spain (16-17 October)
-       Ascona - Switzerland (TBD)

The European-wide WES championship will allow us to publicly demonstrate our focus on the assistance and maintenance of hybrid and electrical vehicles, a segment that will prove fundamental for the growth of workshops within the network.

The Hybrid & Electric Concept

Magneti Marelli Checkstar has always developed solutions to assist workshops in a constant process of innovation, in order to grow together. This is the case with Hybrid Electric Service, the package of technical information and training courses that we have developed in order to provide all Magneti Marelli Checkstar workshops with the tools for maintenance of ever-more common hybrid and electric vehicles.
