Marelli Aftermarket opens new distribution centre in Brazil to enhance logistics efficiency

Marelli Aftermarket has inaugurated a new distribution centre in Brazil. Located in the new logistics hub in the city of Varginha, in the southern region of Minas Gerais, this 21,000 m² warehouse is designed to meet the fast and efficient delivery needs of customers.

The new distribution centre can hold more than 23,000 pallet bays, including 15,000 codes under the Cofap and Magneti Marelli Parts & Services brands, with a maximum height of 14 m. This high storage capacity will maintain a wide range of products for cars, commercial vehicles, agricultural machinery, and motorcycles, providing a comprehensive solution for vehicle repair and maintenance needs.

The strategic location of the distribution centre in relation to Brazil's three major cities, São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, and Belo Horizonte, is a significant advantage. By reducing delivery times, Marelli Aftermarket will be able to meet customer demands more quickly and efficiently, enhancing overall logistics performance. This represents a crucial asset in ensuring a high level of service to the largest spare parts distribution network in LATAM.
