Magneti Marelli Checkstar World Champion with Nicolò Bulega!

Magneti Marelli Checkstar is celebrating the World Supersport title won by Nicolò Bulega, which he earned with our workshop network’s logo in prime position on his helmet. After spending his first year settling in, a year that, in any case, saw him take a place on the podium nine times, the young talent from Emilia-Romagna literally dominated the ‘23 season with the Ducati Panigale V2 for Team Ducati Aruba Racing.

Out of the 22 races run so far, Bulega has won 14, finishing second and third three times respectively, earning the title one round before the end of the championship and thus earning the title of Supersport Manufacturer for Ducati.

The triumphant season for Nicolò began in the best possible manner, with victories earned in the first two races on Philip Island, Australia. These dual wins were then repeated in Assen, the Netherlands, in Donnington in England, in Magny-Cours in France and in Aragon, Spain. Further successes were seen in Race 1 in Barcelona, Imola, Most (Czech Republic) and Portimão (Portugal). This special year for our champion was completed with the three second places in Misano, Imola and Portimao, and the third places gained in Mandalika in Indonesia and again in Misano. Enthusiasts were able to see the races on Sky Sport.

Nicolò, who like Magneti Marelli Checkstar is constantly focused on excellence, will be changing category in 2024. He will, in fact, be riding the Ducati Panigale V4R in the World Superbike Championship, again with the Team Ducati Aruba Racing, with the aim of once again climbing to the top, this time in the leading championship.
