Magneti Marelli Aftermaket returns to Motortec through a Checkstar garage concept to present its new arrivals for 2019

Magneti Marelli Aftermarket Parts and Services (AMPS), the Magneti Marelli company dedicated to the multi-brand spare parts sector and garage networks, is exhibiting at Motortec, the leading trade fair for spare parts and vehicle repair which will be held in Madrid from 13 to 16 March 2019

The stand (Hall 7, Stand 7C13) is entirely designed to recreate a Magneti Marelli Checkstar garage equipped with the latest diagnostic tools and a complete range of Magneti Marelli spare parts, synonymous with technology and OE quality.

The exhibition, both innovative and welcoming, presents a preview of the new LED illuminated signs which the company has specifically designed to ensure maximum visibility for the garages belonging to the Magneti Marelli Checkstar network.

The Aftermarket division of Magneti Marelli is strongly committed to developing and promoting the Magneti Marelli Checkstar network, which currently boasts 4000 garages and bodyshops around the world. During the Motortec trade fair, all visitors will be able to see up close what it means to be part of the Checkstar network: a cutting-edge, well-trained and dynamic team. The company, which is constantly striving for excellence in its products and services for its affiliates, offers the opportunity to reach high operating standards to the garages which join the network, necessary conditions to be considered valid and competent businesses by drivers in terms of working on state-of-the-art vehicles.

For the fair, the company has organised the “1st Motortec Magneti Marelli Checkstar Virtual Rally”, which will be held inside the Magneti Marelli Checkstar stand on 15 and 16 March and, to those who sign up on the website www.virtualrally.es, it will offer an adrenaline-pumping driving experience with a simulator specifically designed to compete in a rally.
All participants will receive merchandise and for the top three in the ranking there will be a selection of special prizes.

Inside the stand and through an innovative layout which recreates a garage with the Checkstar colours, the company will show off its main product lines such as diagnostic equipment, electrical and electronic products, bodywork, energy consumption and mechanics.

Diagnostic equipment: the flagship product on show is the new Vision Pro, the advanced touchscreen, multi-brand diagnosis system, which can be controlled from a PC via Bluetooth and which has significant hardware updates for better performance and speed of execution.

Some of the other products being exhibited include the new range of Alaska refill stations for coolant R1234yf and the Hybrid Starter emergency jump starter based on quick-charge electrostatic technology.

Electricals and Electronics: with over 24,000 applications for cars and industrial vehicles, the products available in the catalogue are the best aftermarket solutions in reference to engine control units, TSI engine throttle bodies and a wide range of new and refurbished rotating machines.

Body parts: the cutting edges technologies of Magneti Marelli takes the form of Automotive Lighting products, a company in the group which is a global leader in the production of headlamps, real lamps, electronics and other lighting components.

All the referents in the catalogue (3000 items) are of original quality and make use of the main and most advanced technologies, including LEDs, Xenon AFS (Adaptive Frontlight System), ILS (Intelligent Light System), infrared, SFS (Static Frontlight System) and lights with light guides, adaptive, LED and with 3D effects.

For vehicles equipped with Start&Stop systems, Magneti Marelli Aftermarket offers two different batteries: AGM technology, with a valve-regulated double sealed cover, ideal for large vehicles that require a higher amount of power; and the SST battery, with EFB (Enhanced Flooded Battery) technology, designed for the standard range and medium-sized cars.

Finally, batteries for Trucks are available, divided into CARGO EVR (Extreme Vibration Resistance), the battery which guarantees extreme resistance to vibrations; SHD (Super Heavy Duty), the premium offering for heavy goods vehicles which operate in extreme weather conditions and with high energy requirements, and finally the standard HD range, ideal for traditional light and heavy commercial vehicles and for normal usage conditions.

On show in the space dedicated to energy consumption, there is the ever-growing range of cabin, oil, air and fuel filters to ensure maximum coverage with the reliability of the Magneti Marelli brand and the new distribution chain kit with water pump, which the company is marketing with over 80 products available and gears for proper replacement of the engine distribution belt.

Mechanics: In reference to the braking group, the line of discs and pads from Magneti Marelli is constantly expanding to ensure maximum coverage of the European car fleet. Furthermore, the company recently launched the new range of water pumps, a high-quality offer which guarantees excellent results for engine distribution.
