Marelli Checkstar Official Sponsor for the Italian GT Championship

Magneti Marelli Checkstar is ready to compete! Combining its passion for motors and for sport, the company has signed a partnership agreement with ACI Sport, becoming Official Sponsor for the Italian GT Championship for 2021, which began on 1^st May in Monza.

The Gran Turismo is a championship characterised by thrilling clashes between professional drivers who race for the title in the Endurance and Sprint specialities with supercars of the calibre of Lamborghini, Ferrari, Porsche, Audi, BMW and Mercedes.

The Magneti Marelli Checkstar logo, displayed on the side of the racetrack at the 8 circuits hosting the championship, as well as on the side of the powerful cars taking part in the race, will be clearly visible to TV spectators.

Following the opening race in Monza, the upcoming races will be taking place on the iconic racetracks of:

-       Pergusa (22-23 May), a new venue for the 2021 Championship

-       Misano (5-6 June)

-       Mugello (3-4 July)

-       Imola (4-5 September)

-       Vallelunga (18-19 September)

-       Mugello (9-10 October)

-       Monza (30-31 October)

Marelli Motorsport will also be present during the GT Championship for data acquisition, supplying data logger kits to the GT Cup, GT3 and GT4 categories, underlining that competition, passion, sport and technology are all an integral part of the DNA of the Group.
