Magneti Marelli After Market Parts and Services, international supplier of spare parts for PC, LCV, CV, makes his comeback on Equip Auto. The brand, with 100 years of heritage, has decided to return to this important meeting of the profession after 12 years of absence.
Magneti Marelli Aftermarket gives appointment to its partners and repairers on its stand to make them discover its vision of the replacement for the next years and to reaffirm its presence and dynamism on the French market, under the colors of the new entity Marelli.

Thomas Caron, Country Manager in charge of the french market, explain: «Equip Auto 2019 is an important appointment for our brand. We made the choice to return to this show for several reasons. First, the 2017 edition clearly marked a revival of the show, it enjoys today a very beautiful dynamic. On the other hand, 2019 is a key year in the history of Magneti Marelli : As we have just passed 100 years of existence and technological innovation, we are entering a new chapter in our history under the aegis of the Marelli new company.
The group, of which we are part, is the 9th largest independent automotive supplier in the world. In this period of intense evolution, it seemed important to us to come back to the French show, to meet market players. This will be an opportunity to clarify the contours and scope of these recent changes and to assure our customers that our know-how remains intact, with a rich offer that continues to renew itself.»

The brand is making a comeback that will be noticed on Equip Auto. On the stand Magneti Marelli Aftermaket (Hall 1 – Stand G 018) visitors will discover a large space dedicated to the lighting range in which different lights / projectors of the latest technologies Led and Full Led, available for the replacement, will be exposed.

Always on the cutting edge of technology, Marelli develops innovative products such as the rotating headlamp module which equips the DS7. He will be exhibited on the stand. Visitors will also find the other products available on the French market, presented in different alcoves in the stand: body parts (mirrors ...), mechanical parts and wear (chain kits, gas springs ... ) and the Technical Parts (throttle body, coils, injectors, ... and in particular the range of sensors whose offer has just been enriched with nearly 30% additional references).

Magneti Marelli enriches its range of sensors with more than 400 references:

Modern vehicles are riddled with sensors that send multiple and varied information to different electronic control unit (ECU). Their number on board vehicles has exploded in recent years. Today, cars are equipped with about fifty sensors at a minimum, and for luxury vehicles, this number can reach a hundred?. Via the information they transmit to the ECU, the sensors provide engine management, comfort on board, active and passive safety ... They play a central role in the proper functioning of the vehicle. In terms of engine management, by sending accurate and reliable information to the ECU (temperature, pressure, speed, position, etc.), the sensors contribute to the efficiency of the engine and efficient exhaust gas management. Thus, each sensor is also a guarantee in terms of reducing fuel consumption and CO2 emissions and optimizing the overall operation of the vehicle.

Magneti Marelli Aftermarket offers a full range of temperature, pressure and oxygen sensors, as well as different types of sensors for engine management. These products are available in original version or equivalent quality version. On the occasion of Equip Auto, the brand announced the enrichment of its range of nearly 30% with 410 new sensor references for a catalog that now includes more than 1 400 references:

Launch of ranges:

• Exhaust gas pressure sensors (DPS sensors) enter the catalog Magneti Marelli with 20 references that cover the most common applications of the European car parc.
• 120 references of exhaust temperature sensors have also been incorporated into the offer Magneti Marelli. 
• 90 ABS sensor references will be available from January 2020.

Enrichment of ranges : 

• 50 new pressure sensor references (MAP), a range of more than 120 references.
• 100 new crankshaft sensor references, a range of 270 references.
• 20 new references of camshaft position sensors (CAM sensor), in a range of 120 references.
